Most of the documents are corrected by Gazette notification but it does not help you with date of birth correction.

For making corrections or change your date of birth in your documents like Aadhar or Marksheet, you need to have supportive documents like Birth Certificate or 10th Class marksheet.

If the correction required itself is in 10th Marksheet then you must need to have Birth certificate.

One more important thing to keep in mind that the Age that you want to correct or change should be reasonable and justifiable.

For example, if there is a gap between few days to 1 year then it seems genuine and can be corrected easily with the help of supportive documents.

If you show age gap of 5-10 years then it does not seem reasonable.

Also, if there is any mistake in date of birth then you should get it corrected as soon as you know about that. If you go and ask for the correction in the date of Birth after 10 years, then it does not look genuine, and in sucha  case, your date of birth correction request will be denied.
